Further Arts presents documentaries by Vanuatu emerging filmmakers

The videos are products of the basic filming and documentary filming short course offered by Further Arts, and funded by the PACMAS Innovation Fund.

Participants came from communities around Port Vila, Vanuatu.  They were given training in technical filming skills, camera handling, directing, script-writing, storyboards, narration, editing and publishing.

In putting their new improved skills into practice, these emerging filmmakers were put into groups and asked to research and produce these 9 minute documentaries on the issues that have affected them or their society.

The training was from May 15 – July 15, 2014.
